Description: SimFluid_adapt simulates various 2D fluid processes, e.g., a drop dissolving from a solid surface or two drops colliding. The fluid is a system of finite, locally interacting particles. The differential equations for this interaction are approximated by the frog-leap method. The program itself is written in C but can create Matlab output. The usage is explained in the README. It is possible to define fluids by simple geometric figures, e.g., spheres, semi-spheres, boxes and lines and let them interact. The program is similar to SimFluid, the cost is reduced by using an adaptive mesh grid to be of order O(N*log(N)). For more information read the paper ausarbeitung.pdf.
